Acerca del evento
Clean Planet is an International Non-Profit Foundation with presence in 4 countries such as USA, Haiti, Mexico and Colombia. Our work is based on cleaning our planet of garbage and encouraging all the people of the world to take care of and protect nature.
Proof of this, are the results obtained in our last cleaning activity where we obtained the support of 175+ people belonging to foundations, private companies and schools. We collected 200+ bags of garbage, 3300 kilos of unusable (mattresses, toilets, wood and rubble among others).
This is why we want to invite you to join this beautiful cause; with your support we will be able to clean our planet, hence why we call it #CleanPlanetDay.
We are sure that this will be the opportunity to demonstrate our commitment and love for the planet, generating a positive impact in our city, by creating awareness and reducing pollution.
We invite you to be part of this beautiful initiative for a CleanPlanet
Volunteers from different Countries of the World will be joining forces on November 24th to clean the planet and send a message on the importance of properly disposing garbage to avoid the pollution caused by waste in the environment and water sources.
The last #CleanPlanetDay was held in 11 cities, 4 countries with more than 200+ garbage bags collected.
We are pleased to invite you to participate in the coverage of the Seventh CleanPlanet Cleanup Day, which will be held throughout South Florida. We hope to have your presence in this Clean up initiative to benefit our Planet Earth.
Consider this as an opportunity to demonstrate your active role in the fulfillment of social responsibility while producing a positive impact on our city, creating awareness, and cleaning up our planet.
Here is a short list of recommended articles:
- Closed shoes or water shoes that can get wet or dirty to clean
- Water in a reusable container. Let's try to reduce plastic waste, when possible.
- Reusable work / dishwasher gloves (available at grocery store / hardware store)
- Sunscreen
- Insect repellent
- Comfortable clothes
- Snacks
- Trash bags (often provided by your host)
IMPORTANT - Safety first
You volunteer for the cleanup day that requires picking up trash, which can be risky. Absolutely there can be sharp elements, like broken glass, hypodermic needles, metal with sharp edges, wood with nails, etc. You are responsible for your own actions and safety, and neither CleanPlanet, La Paz Ambassadors, Event Organizers are responsible for any accidents. REALLY we want you to be safe and practice common sense. Always wear appropriate closed shoes with good traction, gloves to protect your hands and sunscreen to avoid sunburn. Drink plenty of water and stay hydrated. It is good to work in pairs and if you are not sure of something, ask for another opinion or help. If you bring children, teenagers or young adults, take the time to educate them about proper safety and lead by example. We want you to stay safe!
